北海道へ
ブログの更新が、すっかりおろそかになっていました。m(_ _)mすいません。
8月31日、9月1日の二日間、ウッドマイルズ研究会のセミナーで
「つくばスタイル」木の家クラブの活動を報告するため、北海道に行ってきました。
飛行機が遅れるなどアクシデントもありましたが、札幌と下川町で無事報告。
↑下川町の会場です。道産木材でレリーフが。
北海道でのいろいろな取り組みも知ることが出来ました。
北海道ではトドマツ、アカマツがメイン。やはり茨城とは樹種も利用方法も違います。
伐採可能時期のピークを迎えているそうで、地材地消のいろいろな取り組みが行われています。
下川町では、森林認証材を使用した割箸の生産や、
地元産の小麦を使用した手延べうどんなども生産。
道産材を使った「北の木の家」や、端材のチップを利用したバイオマスボイラーなども見学し、
すっかり楽しんできました。
続けて休暇をとって、話題の旭山動物園へ。
